24 gauge is a much thinner wire, good for wrapping, a bit too thin for certain designs.
NOTE: 21 gauge is better for stability.
In the popular 2-inch, 24-gauge style, a great choice for creating wrapped loops. These can be manipulated by hand
24 gauge = 0.511mm/0.0201";
Heads of pins are approx. 1 to 1.3mm.
Not recommended for beads with holes much larger than 1mm, unless bent around bead.
